Because I Love You, I Won’t Let the Flesh Lead Me

As we close out 2025 and step into a new year, this message challenges us to leave behind attitudes, habits, and fleshly responses that divide and destroy. In Galatians 5:15, Paul warns that if we “bite and devour one another,” we’ll end up consumed by the very conflict we create.

This sermon is a call to self-examination and spiritual renewal. It reminds us that love must be more than words; it must be our posture, our pursuit, and our protection from the flesh. Whether you’ve been on the defense because of past wounds or stuck in disobedience because of pride, now is the time to let the Holy Spirit lead.

Because we love one another, we won’t carry offense, bitterness, or pride into 2026.

We will walk in the Spirit.

We will serve through love.

And we will press forward, leaving the flesh behind.
