DAY 3 — God Shapes Our Desire

Devotional
Scripture says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” This does not mean God gives you whatever you want. It means when you delight in Him, He shapes what you want. If you are struggling to care, the answer is not to fake it. The answer is to draw closer to Him. Because the closer you get to God, the more you will care about what He cares about. And God cares about souls.
 
Insight
When you spend time with someone, you start to pick up what matters to them. The more time you spend with God, the more your heart starts to reflect His.
 
Prayer
“Lord, shape my heart as I spend time with You. Let my desires reflect Yours. Help me to care about souls the way You do. Amen.”
