40 Day Daniel Fast Day 39

Imagine being at a race and seeing the runners lined up in the ready positions, in the bent position, prepared to take off. Could you imagine what may be going through their heads? Maybe it's how much time they spent preparing, all of the training and skills. Now imagine them being in the line and hearing "on your marks, get ready, set,…" and someone interrupts and says wait, I don't know if I am ready for this; and starts addressing concerns, how far is it? What If I fall? What if someone comes in my lane? What if I cannot keep my balance? And so on and so on.

You see, some of us are just like the runner who is asking and thinking of all of these questions when it comes to evangelism. What are we to do? Where are we to go? What are we to say? And how are we to do it? Jesus is saying to us, hey, it's time to GO; I need you to depart where you are and follow me in telling others about salvation. You don't need a mic or a pulpit; you don't need a position; guess what all you need? One word, GO! Don't just go and talk; He wants you to tell the truth about Him! Not only does he tell you to Go, but he gives you the location, everywhere! Go everywhere and preach the gospel to everyone! Can I ask you a question? What are you waiting for? Get ready, get set, GO!
